The Safewash20 device requires four AA LITHIUM batteries (not included). After extensive testing, we recommend the Energizer Lithium AA batteries, which have proven to perform the best and last the longest. LITHIUM BATTERIES can be purchased with any order.

Safewash20 operates on four AA LITHIUM batteries. When left ON, the power is programmed to an extreme minimum, having very little draw on the battery life. Because of the many features of the Safewash20 device, LITHIUM batteries are strongly suggested. Extensive testing demonstrates that four AA LITHIUM batteries last between 6 to 12 months, depending on usage. Four standard, regular AA ALKALINE batteries can be used however, the battery life may be reduced in half.

Your Safewash20 should be mounted near any sink for easy access. Included with each device is a mounting bracket. The Safewash20 device offers two mounting options: the mounting bracket installs with standard screws and wall anchors (provided), or mounts with two strong, removable 3M adhesive strips (provided). When using the “removable 3M adhesive strips,” your device can be installed on a mirror, wall or glass surface. Safewash20 device snaps into back support bracket and locks into place.

The top switch on the back of the Safewash20 device, turns the device ON or OFF. Turn the device on and mount near any sink. Sanitary and hands-free, the Safewash20 device is motion-activated with a simple wave of the hand. Music begins to play and countdown timer begins.

Four music selections – Position Numbers 1 thru 3 are pre-installed.

Position No. 4 allows you to Upload your own business jingle, classic song or message to the SD Card (included). Each Safewash20 device comes with an SD Card. Simply remove the SD card from the Safewash20 device, insert the SD Card into the device that has your music selection. Go to settings and select Save to SD Card and download. Once your download has completed remove the SD Card. Then replace the SD Card inside the Safewash20 unit.

For businesses (like restaurants) with more than one sink, it may be preferred to reduce the music volume or MUTE the devices to avoid sound conflict. You may choose to select full volume on one unit and mute the other devices. Whatever you prefer, you are in control. You set the volume. The volume slider is located on the back of the device.

At Safewash20, we know things can happen. If you are having trouble with your device not turning on, we suggest the following:

a) LITHIUM batteries are required – be sure to check the way the batteries are properly inserted.

b) Check the dates on the batteries – make sure they are not expired.

c) Try replacing the batteries currently installed

d) If you have done the above steps, simply contact us for a replacement unit.

At this time, the PRIME model is available in Off White and Charcoal. For large quantity orders (200+ units), custom colors are available.

Yes! Safewash20 units are factory-set to 20-seconds. However, you can switch the timer on the Safewash20 device from 20, 30, 45, or 60 seconds.

Yes. Your Safewash20 device is protected by a full, one-year replacement policy. We do not repair Safewash20 devices, when covered by our warranty, the device is replaced with a new device. The manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential or business use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year for the original invoice date.
