The Safewash20 devices require four AA batteries which are NOT included. After extensive testing, we recommend the Energizer Lithium AA batteries, which have proven to perform the best and last the longest.

Safewash20 operates on four AA batteries. When left ON, the power is programmed to an extreme minimum draw, having very little effect on battery life.

Your SafeWash20 should be mounted near any sink for easy access. Included with each device is a mounting bracket. The Safewash20 device offers two mounting options: the mounting bracket installs with standard screws and wall anchors (provided), or mounts with two strong, removable 3M adhesive strips (provided). When using the “removable 3M adhesive strips,” your device can be installed on a mirror, wall or glass surface. SafeWash20 device snaps into back support bracket and locks into place.

Our sanitary, hands-free, motion-activated device begins with a simple wave of the hand. Music begins to play and countdown timer begins.

On the back of the PRIME and ELITE models, there is a simple switch which allows you to select position numbers 1 thru 4, Positions numbers 1 thru 3 include preloaded upbeat generic tunes. Selection no. 4 allows the user to upload their preferred tune, company jingle, or holiday jingle. Each SafeWash20 device comes with an SD Card. Simply remove the SD card from the SafeWash20 device, insert the SD Card into the device that has your music selection. Go to settings and select Save to SD Card and download. Once your download has completed remove the SD Card. Then replace the SD Card inside the SafeWash20 unit.

For businesses (like restaurants) with more than one sink, it may be preferred to reduce the music volume or MUTE the device to avoid sound conflict. Whatever you prefer, you are in control. You set the volume. The volume dial is located on the back of the device. The HOME device has the volume dial located on the top of the unit for quick, easy access.

At SafeWash20, we know things can happen. If you are having trouble with your device not turning on, we suggest the following:

a)Be sure to check the way the batteries are inserted into the device.

b)Check the dates on the batteries – make sure they are not expired.

c)If you have done the above steps, simply contact us for a replacement unit.

At SafeWash20, our goal is to keep you safe. We want you to be completely satisfied with your SafeWash20 device. If you are not satisfied with the model choice, we will be happy to exchange it for you.

At this time, the PRIME model is available in white, ivory and gray. The ELITE and HOME models are available in a smoke/black color. Samples of current colors available for all models can be viewed online at www.SafeWash20.com

Yes! SafeWash20 units are factory-set to 20-seconds. However, you can switch the timer on the PRIME and ELITE models from 20, 30, 45, or 60 seconds. The HOME model (designed for homes, private bathrooms and hotels) can be set for 20 seconds for handwashing and 2 minutes for tooth brushing. The controls on the HOME model are conveniently located on the top of the device.

On the back of the SafeWash20 device, you can set the motion sensitivity distance from 3 – 12 inches. You are always in control of your device.

Yes. Your SafeWash20 device is protected by a full, one-year replacement policy. We do not repair SafeWash20 devices, when covered by our warranty, the device is replaced with a new device. The manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential or business use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year for the original invoice date.
